Do you have try to enable Java plugin manualy? Make sure that your Java is up to date https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/

Unfortunately my problem did not lie with Java nor Fire Fox, I found tech support through HP and they found my computer chuck full of Malware and viruses. It cost me some, but problems are fixed now.
