after aupdating Firefox to versio 5.0.1 I lost most bookmarks

I use this computer daily in weekdays, but I didn't use it for 20 days, returning today. I opened Firefox and couldn't restart my last session, from July 8th. After this I saw I could update to version 5.0.1, and did it. After that I lost all my bookmarks, except 4 or 5 of them.

A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.
