window media player 11 plugin does not work , i am using win7 x64
i have install 100 of times windows media player 11 plugin but still when page opens it says plugin is required...... while the same plugin which is originally made for firefox works very good with google chrome

Try creating a plugins folder inside the Firefox installation folder, by default this will be C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\plugins (this folder may already exist). Now copy the WMP plugin file (np-mswmp.dll) into that folder.
