If I do my search on Firefox Focus, I am always redirected to Google. Is this standard? I thought Firefox is a search engine in itself? Please enlighten me. Thanks
As I said above, when I go to Firefox Focus for a query, I am automatically redirected to Google for the search. I thought Firefox Focus is a search engine in itself. Google can still monitor my searches. That defeats the purpose for my going to Firefox Focus. Please enlighten. Thanks

Firefox Focus is a web browser and not a search engine site. A search engine is for example qwant.com. duckduckgo.com. google.com. bing.com etc.
