VPN cannot be turned on after it was renamed as ip Protection

I am from China and have been using the beta VPN from Firefox since it was released months ago. Today(7.3) I found the button becomes like the image——this means it is reset?

I pushed the "start using" button to find a redirection to log in, like the second image.

I continued——and it said I can directly turn on the VPN in the previous place——I continued——and there was still like the first image, I pushed the button again to fall into the cycle endlessly

Have you been using Mozilla VPN from https://vpn.mozilla.org ? It hasn't been renamed, it is something different.

/fixed link.

thanks but this website itself is blocked in China, and I initially used the VPN as a tunnel to get access for those blocked websites

The service nevertheless uses some of the same endpoints — so if the vpn.m.o host is unreachable, chances are the masque relay also won't work, or at least won't be able to initiate regularly.

Generally speaking, since the feature is unavailable in P.R.C., your ability to manually enable it on your own and reach the servers is more of an coincidence than an intention.
