Instructions everywhere say to open Firefox on mobile, select the options menu, and select "Sync and save your data." However, "Sync and save your data" does not exist. I cannot sync my passwords from mobile to my desktop.

When I scan the QR code with my camera it brings me to a webpage (using Firefox Beta) and tells me to use the app.

Do you see your email address or username in the Firefox for Android menu? If so, select this to see the Firefox Sync settings.

There is no option in that menu to select the required QR code reader.
