I keep getting the following message: The STAT command did not succeed. Error getting message number and sizes. Mail server Imap.gmail.com responded [SYS/PERM] Your account is not enabled for POP access.

I am not familiar with gmail. This message seems to indicate that your account at Google is not set up for POP, but you set it up in Thunderbird as a POP account.

Is that what's happening?
