Lost data from profile after wiping windows
Hello, I just wiped windows and lost my bookmarks, passwords, and the like. I looked into the support options, as well Firefox profiles (about:profiles) but can't seem to get that data back. It's odd to me that it didn't sync because I also wiped windows last month and it recovered all of my data as soon as I signed into my Firefox account,so I was hoping that would happen again.
Any way to get this back?
Thank you.

For Sync, I can't think of a good reason for the results to be different this time. You can check what data is in the Sync cloud for your Mozilla Account using the About Sync add-on:
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/about-sync/
After you install the add-on, you can type or paste about:sync in the address bar and press Enter to load it. The page shows each category of data currently found in the Sync cloud.
Each category has a "Records" section to see what data is stored.
For about:profiles, that's a list of local folders, so if you wiped the C:\Users path, it makes sense that those are gone. Some kinds of Windows Resets preserve old data under C:\Windows.old (I think you get the choice to save or remove data). Do you have that folder?
I installed that and checked about:sync and I believe I can see some records of my old data. Is there another application or use of this tool to implement that?
And unfortunately I do not have the windows.old folder I had to do a full wipe of my drive and windows re installation.
Thanks again for the info.
Looking more into it I believe this data was what was imported from my google account
If your old data is in the Sync cloud, it should merge with whatever you have in the browser at the moment.
If your old data isn't in the Sync cloud, I think you would be limited to any backups you've made of your computer in recent months.
