I cannot give personal experience, but I did see there are many websites listed when I did a web search for converting msg to eml. Doing a similar search may prove useful. Good luck. :)

I found a website that will do the conversion. I also found an import in thunderbird that indicated it will import outlook messages. I stopped when I got the tab to start the import. The reason I stopped because I was not sure what was going to happen.

Can you tell me if the import will handle .msg formatted messages?

I am not sure where it imports from. Is it possible that a message in a outlook folder is not in the msg format?

Does the import allow you to select what messages to import as it did when I imported my calendar?

I just don't know how the import messages works and I can't find any information on how it works.
