There isn't a way to configure iOS FF to block videos from playing, unfortunately. :(

It's sad that I can find no documentation to set expectations on what the differing versions of Firefox can and cannot do. When a feature is missing or works in a different manner, I tend to think it is my own fault for not understanding.

I agree, having a documented differences between Android, iOS, and desktop would be really useful.
