Why does TB not adhere to the Windows determined default printer?

TB keeps on presenting my old printer as default when I print from TB. I would like TB to present my (new) default printer as defined in the OS and off course the usual paper and printer select options in case I want another printer (pdf) as my choice.

'Menu icon (3 lines)' >'Options' >'Options' > 'Advanced' > 'General' tab Click on 'Config Editor' button Promise to be careful :) Enter the following into the search field: print_printer When that line appears, right click it and select Reset. close window click on 'OK

Restart Thunderbird.
