The "bookmark this page" icon in the toolbar shows only one bookmark. How to see all bookmarks? How to remove only selected bookmarks and not all?

I could open the bookmarks library and search for the page and see all bookmarks, but can this be automated? By adding "show in library" button to the "bookmark this page" tool?

HI, not sure what is going on with the Star.

No to the other of combine.

You can turn on the Menu Bar and have more power by mousing to the top of the browser to a blank area and Right Click and turn on the Menu Bar and Bookmark Toolbar if wish to. Can also be opened from Customize and mouse to the bottom and click on toolbars.

You can also use the Sidebar.

Or use a Bookmark Extension :

There is nothing wrong with the Star, it only shows what you are bookmarking unless it is not showing Folders you have made.

Well, one problem with the star is that it provides only "remove all bookmarks of this page". Why do I want remove all? Or nothing?

Another problem: In the bookmark library, when I search the page and see all its bookmarks, I cannot see in what folders the bookmarks are. The folder is not shown at all. How do I make difference of them? All looks the same. This was supposed to be the solution to the original problem.

The mentioned toolbars won't help. I'm not sure about the extension, maybe not: "If current tab is already been bookmarked, the color will be blue otherwise the color should be dark gray. To find the location of the bookmark, you can you the search field. Enter the URL in the field." Tedious manual work again!

Contact me if someone wants fine-tune the bookmark library code. Lets check this together.

Is the word Done not there as that is what you press to bookmark, you can add tags and choose folders and remove bookmarks. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/bookmarks-firefox

bookmark library is meant to be used to click and show quickly, it is not meant as full function.

Menu Bar : If never used it, turn it on as this is what you possibly want.

Show Your Bookmarks  : Drag out of Customize

Bookmarks Sidebar : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-sidebar-access-bookmarks-history-social

Bookmark Toolbar :

I would think there is more than enough options. But you go right ahead :

Third problem: The Star's tooltip says "Edit this bookmark", but if I have the page bookmarked in 5 folders, how to choose one of the 5? There is no way to choose which bookmark I want edit.

Fourth problem: In bookmark library, I cannot search in the selected folder. The search is always among all bookmarks.

If the Star and the bookmark library window can be rewritten with extension system - as script, without recompiling Firefox - maybe I should take a look at it. Then I could fix this earlier "most used bookmark folders" problem too.
