not able to send email

I am attempting to send an email and it keeps looking for mobile.charter. I am using a desktop and have changed my outgoing server settings, still no luck

Contact your provider for the correct server settings and use those. Their email help page should show their settings.

I did change the outgoing server to the correct settings, but it still will send messages

I get the following message when attempting to send message

Sending of the message failed. The message could not be sent because the connection to Outgoing server (SMTP) SMTP.charter.net was lost in the middle of the transaction. Try again.

That usually means you have a on again off again internet connection, or an over active anti virus that is helping your send your mails in the slowest manner possible.

I am still unable to change my outgoing server. Any ideas?
