I have three Gmail accounts. Personal Business and Hobby. Additionally, about 20 email accounts on my domains. Just lately Thunderbird started failing with; "Failed to connect to server, account.name@gmail.com" It MOSTLY happens with G-mail. This started about when the so-called update for the calendar was made. (something that I minimized because it's useless to me) It worked flawlessly before. What's up?

Using Windows-7 professional, 64-bit T-bird version: 38.7.2 (Pop-error message window can not be captured with screen grab.) Help would be appreciated... Gerry

addendum: If the last account I opened was, or in a previous session was: "account.one@gmail.com" that account has the problem. If it was; "account.two@gmail.com" that account has the problem.

This does NOT seem to happen if the account was on one of my domains.

I thought I had it fixed by deleting the calendar part, but after a week, this problem reared it's ugly head again...

No one else have this problem?
