I can access my emails through charter website but not my Thunderbird acct, suddenly

Hello. We use Thunderbird for our Charter email. All of a sudden our Thunderbird page won't pull up. I can access our email through the Charter website. I called Charter but they said it was more likely a Thunderbird problem so I am reaching out to you for help. I look forward to hearing from you.
