I just re-installed mozilla firefox after having a few problems, and now it seems like I can't make my tabs stay after I have turned of my computer. I really need to be able to save my tabs after I have turned of my computer, but the link where you usually can click to get the tabs back is unavailible for clicking.

In case you are using "Clear history when Firefox closes":

  • do not clear the Browsing History

Note that clearing "Site Preferences" clears all exceptions for cookies, images, pop-up windows, software installation, and passwords.

You can check the browser.sessionstore.* prefs on the about:config page and reset user set (bold) browser.sessionstore.*prefs to the default value via the right-click context menu to make sure that Session Restore is enabled and working properly.
