i do not want to use Firefox Sync.

i have saved my bookmarks from my desktop Firefox to a HTML file.

i have sent the HTML file from my desktop to my Samsung Note Tablet.

can i, or how do i, IMPORT the HTML file contents into Firefox on the tablet ?

There is no way to import html bookmarks backups on Firefox for Android.

You can consider to create a second profile on the desktop computer with only those bookmarks and set up sync with that Firefox profile folder if you do not want to sync all bookmarks.
