any web pdf file I try to view displays for about 1 second, then crashes. Firefox is up to date, Adobe Flash plug in is up to date. What is wrong?
I can copy the web address to explorer and view it there, but how annoying! what else should I check for updates? It's something on this computer, because when I look at the same sites on other computers using Firefox I have no problem.

Hi Sereyna,
Have you looked at the View and edit PDF files using Firefox’s built-in viewer Knowledge Base article? There is a lot of useful information in there. It actually lists two different plugins to try for opening PDF files. I'd try both of them just to be safe.
Hopefully this helps!
Thank you. I tried everything, except uninstalling Adobe Reader, because the Adobe Reader did not have a 'Remove' button in the Add/Remove Programs list. I installed SumatraPDF and can now read pdf files without copying the link to Internet Explorer. Thank you.
