I have downloaded an edited 2010 Word document repeatedly. The pop-up box appears saying I have successfully downloaded all files. When I click to open the box to see and eventually open the files--there are no documents visible.

hi RLovelace,

Have you tried going to the downloads folder directly to search for the documents? You could also try changing the default download location to something like the desktop to see if that helps. You might not have write privileges on the existing folder.

You can change the default download location by going to Tools > Options > General.

Hopefully this helps!

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history" > "Remember download history"
