when you right click the FIREFOX task bar shortcut in windows 7, you can see any "pinned" shortcuts that you commonly use. Every time Firefox pushes an update, this list is cleared out and i have to start all over.. I have resorted to keeping a folder on my desktop with the shortcuts in it so that i can add them back to the task bar shortcut. this was just a small inconvenience, but now since you have had 2 updates in less than a week, its becoming an annoyance. This isn't a huge deal, but I have other products that update regularly and i don't lose any settings or configuration details when they update. Maybe you could take an inventory of the shortcuts in the loader before you push the update and then put them back?
