I cannot print a known good website [www,ZeroHedge.com] article. Article prints in MS Edge.
Recently, in last two months, when using the Firefox website browser, I cannot print some, but not all, website articles on my Brother Laser Printer. Articles from Website www.zerohedge.com will not print. Articles from other websites print fine. My Firefox version is: Firefox Version 156.0.1, Build ID 20260921121718. other troubleshooting information: User Agent Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:156.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/156.0 OS Windows_NT 10.0 26200.
I am running Windows 11 home, Version 25H2, installed 7/9/2026.,
I have cleared the "saved print settings" button with no solution. Still won't print.

What exactly happens when you are trying to print a webpage?
Here's series of events. Let's use ZeroHedge as example. Interestingly, my ChatGPT won't print either on Firerfox. 1. I have article on screen from ZeroHedge. TL;DR. I want to print to read. Hit Print button. 2. Preview is normal. I can roll-up pages to find empty pages at end and enter page numbers to print. I have double side enabled. 3. Hit Print button. Normally the Front-side Brother Printer Icon appears at top left with GO button to print one side (the back if anyone is interested) of the print job. 4. No reaction. No "Brother Back-side window with Go button" appears. Nada. 5. I call-up and check the Brother Printer print-queue window. No job in window. 6. Drat! 7. I then try to print again, again in Preview I select "Current Page". Hit Print button. 8. Again, no response. Nothing in print queue for printer.
Now, one other occasional window appears indicating "unable to communicate with printer". But, I hit print and it prints normally. Subsequently, I follow instructions to communicate with the Printer and am able to print a proper test page. all looks good.
I'm also using ChatGPT to troubleshoot. Can't print that page either. I copy it to my Thunderbird email app and print it normally in the Brother printer. I tried to print a page from a Government web site with information provided on a passport issue. It didn't print either.
Any thoughts welcome ....
Followup. in the task bar at bottom of screen, there is a small printer icon embedded in top right corner. At last, a clue. How do I check the printer connection. Also, I cannot print to PDF, either microsoft PDF or just PDF. In fact, I cannot print the Mozilla help page. This means it is not website problem. I also have Webroot as my security program. FWIW.
Any ideas anyone?
Well. Solved problem. Deleted old Brother utilities/drivers and downloaded new package. Everything works. Now, wasn't that easy?
