Mozilla refers to it as built-in VPN as Firefox VPN implies it is a standalone app like the standalone subscription based Mozilla VPN app. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/built-in-vpn

Firefox for Android may be getting a built-in VPN as early as Firefox 152.0 in testing.
