Duplicate email messages downloading to both my mailboxes

I have 2 email accounts. One is a Yahoo.com address and the other is an AT&T.net address. I have always been able to access both email accounts in my Thunderbird application on my computer (Windows 11). All Yahoo emails have always gone to my Yahoo mailbox and all AT&T emails go to my AT&T mailbox on Thunderbird. However, something happened this morning (a Yahoo popup popped up when I clicked on Thunderbird and I stupidly clicked on accept) and now I'm getting duplicate emails in both accounts. After I clicked on accept on the Yahoo popup, all my emails from all folders (inbox, trash, spam) from the AT&T server downloaded into my Yahoo mailbox (in Thunderbird) and were deleted from my AT&T server from myyahoo.com (not on Thunderbird). Is there anyway to reverse this or change something in the Thunderbird application so I can go back to what it was previously (all Yahoo mail goes to my Yahoo.com mailbox and all AT&T mail goes to my AT&T.net mailbox in Thunderbird)?

I have contacted Yahoo and AT&T about this and after spending most of the day on the phone with each of them, they informed me that since my mail provider (Thunderbird) is a third party application, I would have to contact Thunderbird.

Please help!

Andrea
