Open previous windows on close

This feature/option is not working. I close with multiple tabs open, and restart and only the generic search/home page is there. It is tedious to have to reopen if many tabs have been used.

Please check out Restore previous session - Configure when Firefox shows your most recent tabs and windows.

Unfortunately neither "Manually Restore Session" or "Restore Recenlty Closed Tabs" worked. Thanks for the suggestions but since I am 0 for 2 and 20 minutes of manual recovery, I am going to wait till I have a real crash next time and experiment with your suggestions again, since I will have to dedicate the time if that happens.
