On Windows 11 24H2, Firefox 145.0.2, I click file link and select "Save as" on Firefox file open dialog, firefox display "Windows's file dialog was crashed. File will saved as C:\Users\xxx\Downloads\xxxxxxxx.xxx". And downloaded file size is 0. This occurs with any file.

I tryed same operation on troubleshooting mode, and same result. Please tell me the solution.

I use Windows 11 Pro. I tested in the Windows Sandox that you tell me, but no problems occurred. I came up with an idea, and deleted the Firefox browser history, the problem seems to have been resolved. It maybe to the problem that path to send file dialog by Firefox?

I'll keep watching for a while to see if the problem recurs.

What security software besides MS Defender are you running? Windows home or pro? If you're running Windows Pro version, I would test in the Sandbox to confirm. https://www.howtogeek.com/399290/how-to-use-windows-10s-new-sandbox-to-safely-test-apps/
