on my i-Pad the firefox startseite (homebutton) as well as the starbutton for Lesezeichen is gone. There is no way in settings to reactivate it

To help us better understand what you are seeing and hopefully find a solution for you, please can you attach a screenshot to a reply to this thread.
Hi Paul, please apologize my late answer. My starting page on the i-Pad looks like in the picture below. What I miss is the home button as well as the bookmark button (see picture) which were available since last week. Now I have to go via clicking "..." and then bookmarks to the bookmark list. This means 2-3 clicks instaed of one on the top.
