Firefox prompted me fo close and reopen for an update. When I opened it, I discovered that oreI had to open the sidebar to open a new tab. I hope there is a way to restore the way I am used to open tabs, from the top of the screen rather than the left or right side.

try >settings>general go down to Browser Layout uncheck show sidebar? icon available in customize screen
