When logging into a Wordpress site on Firefox, hovering over Username displays a gear (see first screenshot) which when clicked on exposes passwords and allows them to be edited (see second screenshot). This does not happen on other browsers. I'm on Firefox 126.0, MacOS Big Sur 11.7.10

You can use the Primary Password to protect the passwords in case you currently doesn't use it.

cor-el, thank you for your response. Using Primary Password puts a band aid over the problem, it seems to me. Like all the other browsers, I feel Firefox should NOT be showing the world my passwords, not just for Wordpress but for all my passwords. I should not have to layer Firefox with Primary Passwords to make this disappear, IMHO.
