hi, i just recently installed latest version of linux on a windows 10 pc but after it installed i opened firefox to update it bu when i search update in firefox settings it it said updates disabled by your system administrator please write down the steps to solve it as i have already read out many of mozilla's and linux's articles to solve it but i cannot understand any article please help me

If you installed Firefox from a package manager, the package manager may have tweaked Firefox so that it can be in control of when Firefox updates. The alternative option is to install Firefox directly from Mozilla to bypass those tweaks, but then the theming might be somewhat different (if that matters to you).

dear,i already red this but i still cannot understand what to do and from where to follow where are the steps to solve it that's why i came here. i just installed linux so i am a beginner in linux. i am using latest version(cinnamon edition) so that's why it might be little hard to enable it. by the way thanks for your help can anybody help me more? so that it can help me solve this problem?

This is how Mint set it up -- the package manager handles the updating. Why do you consider it to be a problem?
