The tabs on my browser page and Bing

First, I selected Google to be my search provider, not Bing. So why does a Bing page show up when I want to use FIrefox?

Secondly, why do items I don't want or no longer need appear in my 4 rows of tabs I can click on to access that website? This is frustrating, especially when I can't get rid of one I don't care for.

Also, making this like Microsoft, where it may take some time to actually ask for help almost makes me want to go back to them. I wanted more than they had.

Type about:addons<enter> in the address bar to open your Add-ons Manager. Hot key; (<Control> [Mac=<Command>] <Shift> A)

In the Add-ons Manager, on the left, select Extensions. Remove “ Bing “ Anything.

Also remove SafeSearch, SearchAssist Incognito, FileConverter Addon, SearchLock, DiscreteSearch, WebSearch, Findwide Search Engine, securedsearch

Now do the same in the computer’s Programs Folder.

Windows: Start > Control Panel > Uninstall Programs. Mac: Open the Applications folder. Linux: Check your user manual.
