can not play facebook videos with bew facebook

bold text I am using the latest version of Firefox and the new Facebook, which I dislike. with and with out add on in firefox when i try to send a video to desktop to share to an individual and not on the news feed there is noway to download it. I a using windows media player and windows 10/ I has tried Gom player and VlC player as well and still nothing I have windows media as default. but as i stated none work. I have tried it on Chrome, IE and edge Ie has the old classic Facebook which sometimes let you down load a video. not sure why this is happening. Also can not send Gifs either to the desktop
