I am trying to set up my email account on thunderbird but when I got to manual setup and select StartTLS as the encryption for the outgoing emails it forces me to use a port that my email provider does not use. If I set the port to 465 to reverts to trying to use SSL which is not what my email provider uses for outgoing email. I was previously able to set up my email but the current version of thunderbird has the bug in it.

as a workaround set it up wrong and then edit the newly created account's server settings.
