Hello,

I updated Firefox to the newest version (50.0) and checked the verison of the add-ons as well. Every time I start Firefox it crashes. I can only manually recover Firefox by doing a restart with inactivated add-ons and doing a repair also. But with the next restart of firefox the problem arises again. Please give me any hint to solve the problem. Thanks. I will attach the Crash Reports of the latest crashes. Regards.

hi FIS-Support, unfortunately these crashes are caused by a component ("WebFilterMgr32.dll") from third-party product from Netop which is hooking into the firefox process, presumably to monitor/filter web traffic. can you please try to make sure that this software is fully updated or if the crashes continue afterwards too, get into contact with netop's support as well? thank you

Hi,

I just found out that this problem only arises with the new Firefox Version 50.0. I just re-installed Firefox Version 49.0.2 and had no problems. What do you suggest?

unfortunately there is little that can be done by firefox against programs from other vendors that hook into firefox and cause havoc this way :-/ i would suggest to get in contact with Netop to make them aware of the issue and inquire if they support the newest version of firefox.
