After logging into mail account, inbox screen is visible, but unresponsive. No mouse activity will register and no mail can be selected. After waiting a few seconds, the Basic Mail alert is visible and the site can be reverted to the old mail. All features of Basic Mail seem to work fine, but I need the calendar which is not provided in this version.

Tested Yahoo Mail with IE and there are no issues. Restored Firefox 2 months ago to fix broken icon problem in Yahoo Mail, do not wish to do that again. Have run Firefox with cache cleared, cookies cleared, all add-ons disabled and replaced mail url with fresh one.

Am running newest version of browser and computer is performing to specs. Any suggestions would be appreciated, as I do not want to return to IE.

Hi Microtilt! Have you checked the version of your Flash Player? This may be why you are experiencing this issue. However, (I'm not 100% sure) some websites and games use Java to run, do you have the latest version of Java installed on your computer? Assuming you are using windows (if not, go to the Java website and do their scan for validity!) go to 'Start' and search: 'cmd' then open the program. You'll see a line: C:\Users\'Name'> at the end of this type 'java -version' then hit enter, you'll get a line just underneath saying something like 'java version "1.7_0_51" ' If you have an older version, go to the java website: http://www.java.com/en/download/windows_xpi.jsp?locale=en and download the latest version. Tell me if this resolves your issue! Hope I helped.
