even after selecting the "never remember history" option, firefox 4.0 is using "custom settings for history". how to solve this problem?
if i select "never remember history" in the privacy section n click OK, & then start mozilla again, privacy still uses "use custom settings for history" how 2 solve this problem??? help

That is OK. That means that not all history settings have the default value.
Selecting "Remember history" and "Never remember history" (Private Browsing) set some default settings.
Firefox shows "Use custom settings for history" if you made changes and not all history settings are the default to make you aware of that.
