Why I can not get Flash player working in FF=4? it says FF is a conflicting program?????? what do I do?

I downloaded ff4 today and now now none of the plugin works i went and downloaded adobe flash player 10.2 when i try to install it flash player says it can not install due to conflicting program. So it just shuts down!!!

My old flash player does not work either so I can not use this ff4 at all for my work.

Close Firefox before attempting to install Flash. Their installer needs to install Plugins for Firefox and it can't complete the installation if Firefox is running.

Hello:

Thank you for your help but I still have the same problem it did not solve here is what i get when I start FF4..

"You need Flash player 8+ and JavaScript enabled to view this video."

how do i fix this?
