crashes 10 times an hour. after upgrading. i do not like sitting and staring at my computer for hours. have to shut down and reboot.

The requirements for running firefox 3.6 are less than the requirements for running your OS Windows 7. I suspect not many users of firefox find it crashes 10 times an hour and any problem may possibly relate to your own system, possibly malware, or the the sites you use and your system configuration; for instance is the system overheating using heavy video content sites.

Is firefox the only application that is implicated in crashes ? and have you tried using the same sites with an alternative browser such as the default IE browser ?
