I do not have any missing buttons. The display is dark, and it is the same on all apps. Also, I have a Mac

I just d/l the latest firefox figured it was a fix for the problem. but it is not. The colors are still dark, minus other lighter and brighter colors.

I cannot see where I have to click to write.

Help is needed asap.

It worked for the lettering. Now I have to make the letters lighter, they are very black, and so are the picture or images.

What do I do to hang those settings? Thanks

I fixed the dark on top.

but the pictures are overly dark, and the lettering is very black.

I need help to clear this up. It is awful. I need the pictures to be seen. Thanks

john smith, are you still having this problem?

Sondra: Did you have a persona (Tools > Add-ons > Themes) that wasn't working? --- Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes). See Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems and Troubleshoot issues with plugins like Flash or Java to fix common Firefox problems

If you start Firefox in Firefox Safe Mode and click Continue in Safe Mode instead of check marking Reset toolbars and controls, does the problem occur in Safe Mode?

more options

Hi Chris.......Yes it's still the same with 'continue in safe mode'. I can only see the random number image on this page by saving it and then opening it.

What if you create a new Firefox profile? Does the problem occur in the new profile? See Profile Manager - Create, remove or switch Firefox profiles

Try "Reset all user preferences to Firefox defaults" on the Safe mode start window

Thanks again Chris - alas the problem still remains :(

Damn....after a clean reinstall, I still have the same problems

I was just going to reinstall when I read the above post. I already have tried installing an outdated Firefox, but am still plagued with the same issues. I have a Mac and the problems persist.

The pictures are so dark I can hardly see it, and nothing works as it should. Blackened lettering and more.

There must be a fix and someone from FF should help.

sondra - have you resolved your problem...........mine is no better ?

If a new profile doesn't help and re-installing didn't work, the problem must be outside of Firefox somewhere. Are you using a firewall of anti-virus program, that might be interfering?
