I have a really tough time signing in and question the idea of all the different profiles we can have. Why not just 1 can sign in? I know it is a security thing, but I have had to change my password so many times I can't remember it! I have been on Firefox for many, many years and at an elderly age it is really difficult. Isn't there an easier way?

I have only one for . . . on each device, so I do not know why you have multiple profiles, they are not automatically created.
Hopefully you or anyone else has my problem! I am 87 1/2 (yes the half counts) and my memory is not what it used to be, so I have had to sign in many different times and have forgotten my password. I have it written down but it usually tells me it is wrong, so I have to do a different one. That is why...and right now I don't even know how many different profiles I have been trying to remove. I have been using Firefox for probably longer than most users have been alive so that is also part of the problem. I just don't see the reason for it, myself. And wish that could be changed.
Of course there is an easier way! Have you considered e.g. Password Manager - Remember, delete and edit logins and passwords in Firefox?
