why won't my browser let me sign OUT off hotmail? I can sign in but NOT OUT - help!

I upgraded to firefox 4 & i am now having problems signing out of hotmail. All the questions I can find on the subject refer to not been abler to sign in but I have the opposite problem. when I click on sign out it says firefox does not recognise the website address, why it has previously?

I am signing in as per usual but have no idea if my account is permanently open.

Hotmail have advised its something to do with the browser but what I do not know??

Try deleting the cookies for hotmail. Follow the instructions here: Clear cookies and site data in Firefox
