Error Code " PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR"
For the past week I have been getting the follow error message when ever I try to access www.kobo.com or www.kobo.ca (I have accessed these websites from this laptop for several years, but all of a sudden I am having this problem):
"Secure Connection Failed
An error occurred during a connection to www.kobo.com. PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR
The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified. Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem."
I CANNOT contact the website owners as I cannot access their websites at ALL. What to do?????????

Bing search https://www.bing.com/search?q=PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR This simply means, that the peer or some middlebox in between (firewall) is terminating the connection.
There is security software like Avast, Kaspersky, BitDefender and ESET that intercept secure connection certificates and send their own.
