ive synced firefox over the years bookmarks passwords etc i sold my pc bought a new one a year later logged into firefox sync i can see my previous sync's in account management devices but all of my things arent coming back none of my passwords or bookmarks are showing from before

One year is a long time for a Firefox Account to sit unused. Sync was never intended to store a users data for the long term; the idea is to keep the users data updated every time they open Firefox on one of their connected devices. You made no mention of a 2nd device being used with the PC which was sold.

I have a hunch there's more to your problem than what you have stated thus far.
