firefox updated did not sink faverits prior to the latest browser update can they be recoverd
I updated to new fire fox. A pop up page wanted me to sink favorites with an account for all devices. thought it was for something else I closed the page and fire fox updated. Can't recover old book marks. are they gone for good or can I get them back ? also very slow

Hi, they should be in here :
- https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-where-firefox-stores-user-data
- bookmarks and history: places.sqlite
- bookmark backups: compressed .jsonlz4 JSON backups in the bookmarkbackups folder
Possibly 2 Profile folders there, look for the oldest.
fyi for the future as Sync does replace backups :
