Firefox updated last night and now my bookmarks feature is not working. All of my previous bookmarks are missing. I tried syncing several times to no avail.

 Also, I tried several times to "Bookmark Current Tab" and that feature does not work.  Nothing pops up to select where to file bookmark and when I go back to check, there are still no entries in the Bookmarks. 
 I checked, and I am signed in with my Gmail account.
 When I select a new tab, none of the icons for previously used websites are below the Google search bar.

ich verwende Firefox 143.04. unter Windows und sortiere Lesezeichen in der Lesezeichen-Symbolleiste als Baumstruktur mit 1-2 Ebenen. Beim Anlegen eines neuen Lesezeichens aus einer geöffneten Seite via [Strg+D] wird es automatisch angelegt und in der Lesezeichenleiste gespeichert. Bis hier ist alles soweit okay, auch wenn ich mir hier einen kurzen Dialog gewünscht hätte.

Wenn dieses neue Lesezeichen per Maus (Drag and Drop) in die Ordnerstruktur eingefügt werden soll, klappt sich der Ordner im Baum auf, sobald man mit dem angefassten Lesezeichen in die Nähe kommt. Gut.

Aber: Wenn mit diesem "am Haken hängenden" Lesezeichen in der Ordnerstruktur nach rechts in die nächste Ebene navigiert wird (Ordner klappen nach rechts auf und zeigen die bereits darin befindlichen Lesezeichen), dann schließt sich diese Ansicht und man muss mit dem Lesezeichen am Haken nochmal von vorne / oben anfangen.

Das ist ultra nervig und die Sensibilität des Programms war früher nicht so filigran eingestellt.

Es gibt sicher auch einen workaround (Lesezeichen-Verwaltung separat öffnen), aber das ändert nichts an dem veränderten Verhalten und ich umständlich. Haben Sie evt. ähnliche Erfahrungen oder Berichte anderer Benutzer? Anbei im Screenshot dargestellt der Weg.

Idee / Wunsch: Können Sie die Empfindlichkeit beim Ziehen von Lesezeichen etwas "entschärfen" oder eine simplere Eingabemöglichkeit implementieren (z.B. jede Ebene durch eine Mausgeste fixieren, sodass die nicht "unter der Nase zugeht")?

How can I bring my bookmark toolbar back? It is on my Eset firefox page, but not on my firefox page. I'm running out of ways to get my bookmark pages back. Yes, I updated to Windows 11, now, I'm thinking that was a bad mistake. Help??? Thank you. Linda

Just moved to W11 - initially I had to resolve the bookmarks functional error message - done, but I seem to have a long list of items suggesting many bookmark folders - with items that were just links to sites I had been on - and the original bookmarks folder I had created does not now appear?

Following help on here re bookmarks and history system non functionality - I have renamed files and deleted files such as favicons.sqlite etc etc - but that has not resolved any issues.

Not sure that explains it - hope you can help.

How do I get back to the 'old' format of Bookmarks with Folders and Sub-Folders. I do not like the newer style of 'most used' along the right column. I prefer to see ALL of my Bookmarks along with any sub-folders contained within. Thank You, Jim Bigger

I can not access my bookmarks links, the bookmarks are there, but the links to the internet is dead. I still have access to my home page, though the bookmarks links are dead. How can I fix this? Thank you for you help in this matter. Gary

I HAVE TRIED TO FIND A STREAMLINED WAY TO DELETE MULTIPLE DUPLICATE BOOKMARKS (UNINTENTIONALLY CREATED BY AN OLDER FIREFOX BOOKMARKS IMPORT). BUT I HAVEN'T FOUND ANYTHING THAT WORKS. USING BOOKMARK MANAGER IS FAR TOO TEDIOUS AND TIME-CONSUMING. AND AN EXTENSION ADD-ON I TRIED CREATED EVEN MORE PROBLEMS. I NEED HELP!!
