Can only print with simplify turned on. Other prints don't work

I skipped a cou0le of releases for Firefox. I think since 56 I have been unable to print pages from forums and recipes. A 2 page print morphs into 20 pages with many blank pages and the formatting is incorrect. I have found if I simplify the print it will print but only text, no picgtures. I also need to set this for everything I print, Firefox refuses to remember it.

I would like to go back to normal printing with pictures, especially with recipes...................

How do I get back to normal printing, this text only is annoying.

Please note that Microsoft on Win 10 can and will change hardware drivers if so chooses. https://www.howtogeek.com/302595/how-to-stop-windows-10-from-automatically-updating-hardware-drivers/

You may have to go to the manufactures website and download new drivers as maybe changed or corrupted.
