My bookmarks all disappeared.
Somehow my bookmarks disappeared. I have some folders in my Toolbar but my bookmarks are gone. I am not able to save new bookmarks to the toolbar.When I open my "SHow My Bookmarks" it does not show any folders or Bookmark. How do I delete the old folders? I deleted Firefox and downloaded a new version but same problem occures.

You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file in the Firefox profile folder.

On Mac you can also check if you have an older copy of the places.sqlite file in the Time Machine or possibly restore bookmarks from a .json or compressed .jsonlz4 backup in the bookmarkbackups folder.
