hi all i'm having a problem with firefox browser, its not keeping my website logged in. This does not occur after i close my browser but after a few hours of log in, even if i leave the browser opened and come again back later.

I've been using firefox for ages now and never really had this issue. It has only starting happening only recently, since early this week or last week the most.

I've also manually cleared all cookies/log in etc and updated firefox to the latest version maybe it helps, but nothing changed.

Please note that I do not clear history/active log in etc neither it is set up to do it automatically when i close browser also i do not have any 3rd party apps that forbid cookies. I had a firefox addon before but disabled it maybe it was interfering, but it still didnt resolve the problem.

any help much appreciated as it is getting quite irritating. Thanks in advance Lee

I have chosen to delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed. However I want to make certain exceptions. That normally works fine.

However that are certain sites that are listed in the "Managing Data"-list that are not proceeded with a "https://www...", a typical example is "google.com".

I have not been able to add such sites to the exceptions.

If I just write "google.com" in "Address of website", and choose Allow, the system automatically adds a "https://www.../ in front so the exceptions list looks like . . https://www. google.com . and the cookies listed as google.com are deleted when I close Firefox.

How can I add such sites to the exceptions?

This problem occurred Oct 24, 2020 Australian Eastern Daylight Savings Time (3 weeks after daylight savings time came into effect here). The operating system time is correct. I have cleared the cache several times, rebooted and shut down overnight.

A forum site is displaying the correct times. A site displaying weather information uses the correct time; I loaded it just after 3am and the first time it displayed was 6am as expected.

1. A TV guide normally highlights in red programs currently showing; at present it shows programs showing one hour previously. In Google-Chrome no programs are highlighted. I have removed the cookies and that has made no difference. 2. Facebook.com times are one hour late, both the time of posts in the newsfeed and times of notifications.

The last version of Firefox is making some connections I don't know how to stop. I've modified some of the parameter in "about:config", but there are still HTTP request to the following URLs that I didn't manage to stop:

https://firefox-settings-attachments.cdn.mozilla.net/security-state-staging/intermediates/* https://firefox.settings.services.mozilla.com/v1/buckets/monitor/collections/changes/records

Also, does anyone know if there is a configuration file where I can modify directly all of the parameters I changed in "about:config"?

Thanks!

I think I'll fix my problem by deleting the Firefox virus from my computer.

In settings I've found font settings. My default font is DejaVu (Serif, Sans, Mono)

After changing font (type and size) noting is going on. Even after restart. I disabled option to let wep pages set their own font.

The most important thing for me is to have working "Minimal font size".

To sum up. I can change everything in advanced font settings but there is no result on web pages.

Due to printer software I am forced to migrate family laptop from linux mint to windows 10 Both systems use version 82.0 (64bit), firefox just got installed on fresh windows 10 install, I opened it browsed a little to create history files and closed to swap it with linux history/passwords/tabs/bookmarks But in windows 10 firefox seem to have different file structure, and didn't recognize old version Have file structure changed or there are steps I missed or (unlikely) I messed up with file location, main mozilla/firefox folder path is still there

Will online synchronization of firefox just be as good as hard file copy from one system from another? I think this might be easiest, yet not perfect solution

YouTube works in all other browsers. I have restarted Firefox, uninstalled it and reinstalled fresh, nothing seems to work. Disabling addons does nothing. When I go to watch a video, I press the play button, the video loads sluggishly, and when loading is finished, before the video starts, I get "An error occured. Please try again later. (Playback ID: _______)". Vimeo works fine, but some news sites have the same issue. I have also tried just signing out of YouTube, and that does not work either.

When I have multiple pages open and navigate off the page and work on something else using another program, When I hove over the Firefox icon in my Windows 10 taskbar it shows multiple pages in the fly out menu. What I'd rather have is simply a return to all the full screen tabs. The issue is intermittent, due to my newness to Firefox. Is there some way to change this?
