google looks strange on firefox
I used to post this questions :https://support.mozilla.org/zh-CN/questions/947345 Now even I change to linux and firefox 22,this problem still exist.

I found it's caused by google's cookie "PREF" ,if I delete this cookie ,it will looks OK. But after a while this cookie will still apears and look strange.And I can't use google search by image.
Google looks good with chrome,but I prefer firefox. ^_^ So I wonder how to deal with this problem.

I have the same problem and figured out that PREF Cookie causes the problem. It has a part like "S=VK4xj2PcsJ-64JjX" at the end and it makes the problem. If you delete it manually (by using a Cookie Manager or by hand etc.) it is fixed. But this is a temporary solution. You may need to repeat this everytime happens.

Hello,
Try Firefox Safe Mode to see if the problem goes away. Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most add-ons.
(If you're not using it, switch to the Default theme.)
- You can open Firefox 4.0+ in Safe Mode by holding the Shift key when you open the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
- Or open the Help menu and click on the Restart with Add-ons Disabled... menu item while Firefox is running.
Once you get the pop-up, just select "'Start in Safe Mode"
If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one. Please follow the Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems article for that.
To exit the Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before opening Firefox for normal use again.
When you figure out what's causing your issues, please let us know. It might help other users who have the same problem.

Safe-mode or graphics hardware acceleration not work.
I'm not sure whether "PREF" is the real reason.
Sometimes if I have "PREF" it looks good, but if it looks strange, once I delete the "PREF",it will be ok.

Firefox on Windows is now following display scaling options which may render text larger on high resolution displays. You can adjust your screen resolution. To modify it do the following:

- Double-click layout.css.devPixelsPerPx. Its default value is -1.0. Change it to 1.0 to make it work like in previous Firefox versions. (Use values between 1.0 and about 0.5 to reduce elements in size or 1.25 to increase font size to 125%.)
If web pages needs to be adjusted after changing this pref then you can look at the Default FullZoom Level or NoSquint extension.

This only happened in google. Change layout.css.devPixelsPerPx or NoSquint don't fix it.
