Hello, I keep getting an error message from a site I visited weeks ago. Even though I have restarted Firefox and even my computer many times since, I will get this pop-up from Frenchsounds.com saying that I need to update Flash. This happens even though I am not on the site.

It's a great site, just not sure what is going on. The specific error message is:

"The page at http://www.frenchsounds.com says: Content on this page requires a newer version of Adobe Flash Player. Do you want to download it now?"

Pressing "ok" does nothing. Its strange how it will be a long while before it shows up again, and not sure what prompts it to do so because again I am not on the site at all when this happens.

The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information. Note: This will cause you to lose any Extensions, Open websites, and some Preferences.

To Reset Firefox do the following:

  1. Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
  2. Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
  3. Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
  4. Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

Further information can be found in the Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings article.

Hello, I did not reset Firefox until today and sure enough the Frenchsounds.com flash message showed up after an hour or so. I just wanted to state it here. I will try resetting again. At this point its just a mere annoyance so I will deal with it if it's just something I'm stuck with for now.

Thanks for your assistance.
