Viewing an iWeb09 site in FF, hyperlink text buttons load poorly with 'imagespace' ghost rectangle?

I've put together this iWeb09 site which works tolerably well in Safari, IE, Chrome, but in FF3.6.8 the hyperlink text buttons take a while to resolve, each being preceded by a ghosted rectangle named 'spaceimage'. Are there any fixes to this unprofessional appearance? Many thanks for any clues, Robert.

I see these errors in the Tools > Error Console:

Error: self[rolloverName] is undefined Source File: http://web.me.com/either/metaphor_5/Scripts/iWebSite.js Line: 496
Error: self[linkName] is undefined Source File: http://web.me.com/either/metaphor_5/Scripts/iWebSite.js Line: 503

There seem to be two images (the big image at the top) over each other on the http://web.me.com/either/metaphor_5/victoria_and_albert.html page

Thanks Cor-el, for finding the overlaid images at Victoria & Albert; sorted. As to the other errors, I am no developer so they are as Ancient Hittite! However, am experimenting on a work-around my problem by using a transparent hyperlink button behind plain text . . . any other thoughts gratefully received. Robert

Another good place to ask questions and advice about web development is at the MozillaZine Web Development/Standards Evangelism forum.

The helpers at that forum are more knowledgeable about web development issues.
